Lift Ev'ry Voice

Thursday, February 21 at the FIM
Friday, February 22 at the FIM
Saturday, February 23 at Grace Emmanuel Church
All performances are FREE and begin at 7:30 pm.
A reception will follow the Thursday and Friday evening performances at the FIM.

Hear the voices of men and women from past to present speaking out against racism, hatred, slavery and apartheid. The profound words of these courageous individuals still give meaning to our lives:

Elizabeth Stanton, abolitionist and women’s rights reformer

Mahatma Gandhi, Indian civil rights reformer

Olaudah Equiano, former slave

Desmond Tutu, African civil rights reformer.

Featuring Creative Expressions Dance Studio and the Flint Jubilee Chorale.

With traditional spirituals and gospel music, as well as choreographed dance, this moving event challenges our global community to Lift Ev’ry Voice!

Join us for the Black Classical Music Family Festival
