FSO Classical Season Opening a Great Success!
Maybe it was the masterful playing of marimbist, Saúl Medina.  Perhaps it was the thrill of hearing the Symphony under the direction of Maestro Diemecke.  Or maybe it was when you heard those first four notes of Beethoven's Fifth Symphony, duh-duh-duh-da.  Whatever moment was your favorite moment from the Flint Symphony Orchestra's opening concert, please share it here!

Marimba Concerto, Wow!
I was blown away by the Marimba Concerto. The string solos in the third movement (I think it was the third) were so poetically beautiful. I love the combination of sound created when the Marimba joined the strings.

And the Beethoven Symphony was great. The first movement, the most famous, was so stirring it was hard not to stand up and cheer after the first movement! Great job FSO!
