July 23 - August 7, 2010

Based on the novel written by Michael Ende, Adapted for the stage by David S. Craig

Directed by Walter Hill, Choreographed by Margaret A. Mead-Finizio

Are you willing to face your fear of the unknown on a journey to help others?

Two different worlds: One common boy. Escaping his everyday troubles by reading an amazing book, a boy ventures into a world of fantasy. There, he discovers his imagination is the best hope for saving that world and its inhabitants and facing his fears in his own world.

The Neverending Story

The peaceful world of Fantastica is threatened with annihilation by The Nothing. Its citizens implore, “Where is the hero who will prevail?” When a young boy is called upon to save the threatened world, he encounters fantastic creatures of all shapes and sizes. While he must battle some, others help him on his journey through the perils of treacherous lands. As Bastian reads this extraordinary book, his imagination draws him away from the troubles of his own life and deeper into the story. It is in this new realm where he discovers the courage needed to succeed in both worlds.
