Begun in 1997, Seeing Stars!, the financial aid program for the Flint School of Performing Arts, has raised nearly $550,000 to provide low income students the opportunity to realize their dreams of making music or dancing. Currently, nearly 10 percent of FSPA students receive financial aid.

Providing children the opportunity for long term arts study is critical. Not only does it develop creativity, it fosters a sense of achievement and teaches important skills like discipline and teamwork. Your participation at this special event provides students who need financial assistance the chance to study music and dance at the Flint School of Performing Arts– an opportunity they wouldn’t otherwise have.
